Client Spotlight - Adele

How long have you been training with Adam and why did you start?

I’ve been training with Adam for 3 months now.


How often do you train with him and how often independently?

I try to train with Adam once every 2- 3 weeks to keep me on track and to assist with setting new workouts, which I can then go on to do independently.  


What is your favourite exercise?  

I enjoy running but going to the gym has given me a new appreciation for exercise. I am constantly learning so many new exercises, including both weight-lifting and cardio interval training, and so much more.  


What is your least favourite exercise?

I really struggle with exercises that include balancing on a gym ball but I am building up my confidence and my technique is getting much better every week.


How has training with Adam helped you to achieve your goals?

Adam is such a motivational person and his shopping list, meal plans and workout regimes that I can follow independently, even when not in a PT session face-to-face, are fantastic for someone like me who cannot commit to being available every week.  I can’t guarantee I’ll be in the same county or even country some weeks with work. The exercise has nicely supported my calorie controlled eating plan and Adam’s training is really helping me to sculpt my body and tone alongside the weight loss.


What has been your ‘proud of myself’ moment in your health and fitness journey?

I am immensely proud that after trying many times before I have been able to drop over 3 stone (in 10 weeks with Adam) and built up my fitness.  I have reduced my park run time down by 15 minutes in that time and I generally feel much healthier, fitter and happier.


Do you follow a strict food plan?

Yes - I have been following the Slimming World Plan with Adam’s guidance and understanding. He has helped me with the ingredients/shopping list and meal plan ideas, which gave me a fantastic start.


What is your favourite treat food?

Cheese!  Anything cheese based ;-)
